Students break out the beach clothes to raise money for the homeless

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- They say it's a way to raise awareness to the plight of the homeless, but it may just be an excuse to wear shorts and T-shirts in the middle of winter.

Wednesday, students at Notre Dame's Siegfried Hall dresses in beach clothes and collected money for the homeless.

The even is called "The Day of Man" and Siegfried hall does this every year.

In the past years, students have raise up to $8000.
