Students honor memory of murdered classmate

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Students at a Fort Wayne elementary school honored the memory of their murdered classmate.

The new garden will be a place of comfort for her classmates. It features a rock engraved with her name and bench.

Students also planted a tree outside of their classroom in her memory.

Aliahna Lemmon was murdered last year by Michael Plumadore. Plumadore pleaded guilty last month to Aliahna's murder. Plumadore is scheduled to be sentenced to life without possibility of parole plus 30 years at a hearing June 18.
