BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Berrien County Health Department held their Back to School Bash offering students essential health services before the school year starts. 

It also featured entertainment including games, prizes, and popcorn for the children. 

"So it allows all of their appointments to be done in one like short appointment time, plus we have interactive stuff for the kids" said Candi Gabrielse the Deputy Health Officer. 

The second day of the event will be held at the Berrien County Health Department on August 27, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
