Students show up early to say goodbye to Father Ted

More than 15,000 students flocked into Basilica of the Sacred Heart Wednesday for the viewing of Father Theodore Hesburgh.
The memorial tribute will air on the CW 25 at 7:30 p.m.
Visitation began at 9 p.m. on Tuesday and carried over into Wednesday morning.
"We have 3 dorms coming in every hour," said usher Tommy Tyks.
The funeral mass will take place Wednesday at 2 p.m in the Basilica as well. It is invitation only.
ABC57 will have live coverage on air and on abc57.com beginning at 1:45 p.m.
