UNITED STATES-In grocery stores everywhere, prices are up. A new study by the Indiana Farm Bureau found grocery prices have gone up for the past four quarters.
A pound of apples costs $2.08, a bag of salad is about $1.88, a half gallon of orange juice $3.30. Americans spend just under 10 percent of their disposable income on food, that’s the lowest average of any country in the world.
