Sturgis man accused of possessing child sexually abusive material

STURGIS, Mich. -- A Sturgis man was arrested by Michigan State Police following an investigation into child sexually abusive material uploaded to a cloud account.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified the Michigan State Police Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force about the Instagram activity of Alejandro Sanchez, 19.

Investigators discovered Sanchez had uploaded child sexually abusive material to a cloud account.

Sanchez has been charged with count of child sexually abusive activity, two counts of using a computer to commit a crime, and three counts of possession of child sexually abusive material.
