Summer Astronomy program with Elkhart County Parks

GOSHEN,Ind. -- The Elkhart County Parks is bringing back its summer astronomy programs. The public is invited to explore more about the galaxy using a PowerPoint presentation and Greek and Roman mythology.
They will use their Dobsonian reflector scope to see planets, the moon, and other things, if the weather permits to see. Attendees can make and take a star chart to show the constellations at any time of the year.
Attendees are also welcome to bring telescopes from home. The cost is 3.00 per person, and pre-registration is required. Pre-register by calling 574-535-6458
The first event will be on the 9th of August and the second will be on the 15th of August.
