Summer-like couple of days; tracking a storm threat this week

NOW: Summer-like couple of days; tracking a storm threat this week
NEXT:

Another summer-like day to round out the weekend with plenty of sunshine and temperatures warming into the mid 80s. If you plan to spend some time outside today, bring some sunscreen - the UV index will be very high today. It will also feel a little humid and allergies could be an issue for some today with the pollen count being high. This evening, most will stay dry, but we could see a few isolated pop-up showers or thundershowers. Skies remain partly cloudy overnight with temperatures falling into the lower 60s by tomorrow morning. The rest of our Monday is partly cloudy and hot as highs warm into the upper 80s, dew points in the 60s will keep up feeling a bit muggy. Scattered thunderstorms return Monday night; as of right now, the main concerns within stronger storms look to be hail and downpours.

The main threat for severe weather this upcoming week is Tuesday night into Wednesday. Strong winds and downpours look to be the main concerns for now, but all modes of severe weather are still on the table. The greatest risk for severe storms should remain off to our west, but we could still see severe impacts. We'll be watching this system closely over the next few days.

Today: Mostly sunny. High 84.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 62.
Monday: Partly cloudy. Storms late. High 88.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. Stronger storms late. High 84.
