Summer Reading Club Kickoff Event features games, Zumba and more
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The St. Joe County Public Library will be celebrating the start of Summer Reading Club with a party on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Held in the Richard Pfeil courtyard at the Main Library’s, this event features activities for kids, a Zumba class with instructor Carlitos, live music from "The Hillsiders", and much more.
Throughout the event, you can grab treats from the Kona Ice and Rico Suave food trucks present, take part in downtown bicycle rides with League Certified Instructors (LCI), or take part in a variety of lawn games.
In addition, the event is a great opportunity to learn more about the Summer Reading program and other organizations local to the St. Joe County Public Library. This includes a sign-up for the Summer Reading Club, representatives from the South Bend Lions Football Club, and after hours with Studio 304.
Live music and the majority of activities run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with the Zumba class lasting from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
