ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - One local foundation is supporting kids’ education in memory of a baby who didn’t get the same opportunity.
The Jaxson William Augustus Swank, or JWAS Foundation, offers financial assistance to kids from preschool through college so they can achieve their academic dreams.
The foundation is in memory of a Jaxson, who died just short of his second birthday.
Executive Director Jeanie Shuck stopped by ABC57 Thursday morning to share more about the foundation and how scholars are supported throughout the years.
To learn more about the JWAS Foundation, visit the organization's website.
