This morning on Summer’s Spotlight, ABC57’s Summer Horan spoke with Tina Lawson, Special Education Director for Berrien RESA, about Michigan State Police’s new sensory-friendly tool kits.
These kits are designed to help troopers better communicate and interact with civilians who have disabilities.
Some of the tools included in the kit help distract young kids in situations, accommodate sensory issues and more.
