The heat only grows more intense to finish the holiday weekend, as highs move into the middle 80s tomorrow under mostly sunny skies. Afternoon temperatures will be close to 90 degrees from Tuesday through Friday of the upcoming week, with lots of sunshine expected. As far as rain chances are concerned, there have been some changes. Our best rain chance going into this forecast (Friday) now doesn't look as promising. We'll have to hope for a pop-up afternoon shower on Wednesday or Thursday, but they'll be isolated at best. This blocking ridge of high pressure will hopefully start to break down by the start of next week as most of us will see our consecutive dry days streak stretch past two weeks.
