A tranquil and sunnier period of weather ahead
The forecast is still summer-like through the end of the week. The muggy September weather will spark a few showers and storms. Friday is the most likely day for rain, ahead of a summer season-ending cold front. Fall officially begins Saturday and it will feel like autumn with highs near 70.
