ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.-- Stop the presses, pooches are in the building!
On this episode of Summer's Spotlight, Summer shines a light on the Animal Therapy Team and the opportunities for you and your pup to help others in their healing.
Sebrina and Dennis McQueen have been married for a long time, but their love of pets might outrun that!
They live and work with their furry companions, Cece and Kit.
The two pup have been trained to work with patients at Saint Joe Health Systems.
Sebrina and Dennis McQueen brought in therapy pets, Cece and Kit, to share their part in helping patients at Saint Joseph Health Systems on their road to recovery.
From the HOVER program with local Veterans to kids, Dennis says these dogs can give comfort humans can't match.
Take a look at our interview to see Cece in action and learn what training your dog would need to get involved in providing support.
For more information on volunteering your time and talents head to the Saint Joseph Health System's volunteer page.
