ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart County Parks is providing the public with survival lessons at Bonneyville Mill Saturday afternoon, including how to build a fire quickly.
On Wednesday, ABC57's Summer Horan spoke with Brandon Blackmer, the Bonneyville Mill Interpreter, and James Doty, Saturday's volunteer Bushcraft instructor, to discuss what you can learn from the event and witness a demonstration of how to build a fire.
The Fire Making survival lesson will take place at Bonneyville Mill Saturday from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Baldwin One Room School House. The course, available on the Elkhart County Parks website, costs $2 to register for and it must be signed up for by Friday.
