ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Sunday, October 29, 2023
Temperatures continue to fall over the next several days starting this morning. Michiana barely cracks the high 40s today as the first complex of showers wraps up later this morning. Scattered showers will continue to linger through the afternoon until a more widespread band moves in later tonight, helping drop temperatures into the mid 30s. Colder air begins wrapping in from Canada on Monday, dropping highs barely above 40 and lows into the high 20s for what likely will start the first hard freeze of the season. Halloween likely will be the coldest day of the week in the high 30s, so make sure to wear that jacket over your costume! We could also see our first snowfall of the season Tuesday night as a PM lake effect rain/snow mix develops, eventually turning to flurries overnight. Measurable snowfall is not expected at this time, although you may notice some flakes on the grass Wednesday morning.
Today: Scattered showers. High 48.
Tonight: Showers. Low 36.
Monday: Partly cloudy. High 42.
Tuesday: PM lake effect rain/snow mix. High 39.
