ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, January 31st, 2026
This afternoon's sunshine has helped loosen up and clear snow and ice on roadways. However, be aware of snow slushy and slick spots, especially on side/rural roads. As temperatures cool overnight to and below zero degrees, wet spots from melted snow/ice could potentially become slick again.
Sunday greets us with some sunshine and highs in the 20s. The trend of warmer temperatures continues through the work week. Sunday night into Monday, system snow will track through the Great Lakes region, dropping an inch or less of snowfall. Low impacts are expected, but the Monday morning commute could be slick. Snow will end by Monday afternoon. Lake enhancement could increase snowfall amounts for counties closest to the lake. Renewed snow chances return by the end of the week.
Temperatures continue to climb near normal, and we could reach the 30s by Friday. The weekend brings another drop in temperatures.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, extremely cold. Low 0.
Sunday: Slightly warmer, some sun. High 26.
Monday (Groundhog Day): AM snow, warming. High 28.
