FIRST WARNING NEIGHBORHOOD WEATHER
Sunday June 7th, 2020
Temperatures will be a little milder tonight under mostly clear skies. Lows will fall to near 60 degrees by Monday morning. Another sunny and warm day is on the way for Monday across Michiana. Highs will reach the middle 80s. Showers and a few thunderstorms are possible by Tuesday afternoon as Tropical Storm Cristobal starts to impact Michiana. A few showers and storms are possible early Wednesday as well. Most of the substantial rain will miss Michiana, however. I'm expecting rain amounts to only reach a half of an inch at most for a good chunk of the region.
The bigger story with Cristobal locally will be the wind. Gusts of 30-40 mph are possible Tuesday night, and there is the potential for even stronger gusts on Wednesday as the storm gets absorbed by the jet stream. Dry weather looks to return for the rest of next week into the weekend, with highs in the 70s across Michiana and low humidity.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 60.
Monday: Sunny. High 86.
Tuesday: Windy with scattered afternoon thunderstorms. High 90.
Wednesday: Showers in the morning, then partly cloudy late. Windy. High 76.
