Superhero museum event in Elkhart

The Hall of Heroes in Elkhart will host Avengers Day on Saturday, May 9th.

Visitors will be able to view and get their hands on some of the museum's Hollywood memorabilia. Comic fans can try on the Iron Man helmet as well as view other superhero artifacts.

Museum curator Allen Stewart says the Iron Man car is the starting piece for the museums expansion.

“This is the largest no doubt item we have in the museum. It's the only Hollywood car we have here. And that is actually where some of the fund raising is going for. We actually are outgrowing our current facility. We need to move to a larger facility,” said Stewart.

It is also a big day for Wonder Woman. They'll host her wedding ceremony at the event.
