Superintendent in Benton Harbor suspended

A Benton Harbor school board meeting was held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday to discuss matters regarding the school superintendent.
The secretary in the superintendent's office confirmed that Leonard Seawood was placed on administrative non-disciplinary leave.
The matter regarding the investigation was not disclosed and the investigation is ongoing.
Leonard Seawood has served as superintendent since the fall of 2010.
The next committee meeting will be May 5th and the next school board meeting will be May 12th.
