Suspect arrested in homicide of pregnant South Bend mother

Metro Homicide says 34-year-old Gregory Jones is in custody on preliminary murder charges for the death of Kenyatta McCurry, 33. 

An autopsy confirmed McCurry was pregnant and suffered a fatal gunshot wound. 

McCurry was found dead in her home Sunday after a Good Samaritan found two of her children walking outside with no shoes or coats, prompting the police to investigate. 

According to Metro Homicide, Jones was the victim's boyfriend and also the father of her one year old daughter.
