LA PORTE, Ind. --- A suspect fleeing from police went from being pulled over to crashing down from the ceiling of the Lewis Bakeries facility.
According to the Northwest Indiana Times officers stopped the car to investigate possible criminal activity shortly before 9 p.m. last Wednesday.
The times reports that the driver didn’t comply with officers and took off on foot running several blocks to the Lewis Bakeries location on Boyd Blvd.
Officers followed him on foot when the suspect scaled the side of the factory running across the roof ultimately ending up in the production lines.
The footage, now racking up views on Facebook, shows the man crashing down, resisting arrest, and being tased several times.
The suspect who has not been identified at this time was taken into custody shortly after.
He’s said to have caused approximately $22,000 in damage to the facility.
An officer and a county deputy sustained minor injuries during the chase, according to police.
