Suspect in March 13 homicide arrested in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - South Bend Police arrested a suspect in connection with the March 13 murder of a man at an apartment complex.

Jesstin Lottie, 21, is being held at the St. Joseph County Jail for murder and a firearm enhancement.

He is accused of the murder of 54-year-old Daniel Henderson.

A second suspect, 21-year-old Courtney O'Neal, was arrested back in March.

On March 13, the two were seen confronting Henderson outside an apartment complex on Belleville Circle.

Police obtained a voicemail Henderson reportedly left during the incident, which captured him telling someone to leave his items alone and to put the gun down. A second man's voice is heard warning Henderson that he's going to get shot.
