Suspicious activity reported at local school park

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – On Monday the Mishawaka Police Department sent out a Facebook Safety Alert reporting four juvenile girls being followed into the area of Hum’s school on 12th Street.

The girls claimed a silver SUV with four white males between the ages of 17-21 were yelling obscenities at them as they followed them into the park.

According to police the juveniles locked themselves in a park bathroom and called a parent who then chased the silver SUV and its passengers out of the park.

Anyone with information on the silver SUV or a similar experience is advised to contact the Mishawaka Police Department and to speak with Detective Robinson.

Officials say there is no known make or model of the vehicle involved with the incident at this time.
