ELKHART, Ind.—Police are investigated a suspicious package at Civic Plaza on Friday.
Officers were called to investigate the reported suspicious package in the 300 block of S. Main Street around 11:22 a.m.
Main Street is closed from Franklin to High while police investigate.
The Bomb Squad was called to investigate.
According to Elkhart Police, the package was determined to be non-life threatening.
Police said the package was found to be a travel bag with personal items inside.
