KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- The driver of an SUV was killed when his vehicle collided with a semi on SR 13 Tuesday afternoon, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to the 5000 block of SR 13 just before 1:30 p.m. after the dispatch center received multiple calls about a crash between a semi and an SUV.

Investigators say a Chevy Suburban driven by 22-year-old Robert Porter was traveling northbound on SR 13 when his vehicle crossed the center line for an unknown reason and struck a semi.

Porter was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi was not injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
