SWAT situation on Donald Street in South Bend resolved

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- SWAT was called out to a home in the 200 block of Donald Street Wednesday afternoon, according to South Bend Police.

Police were called to the scene originally because of a fight with possible weapons drawn.

According to police, when the suspects heard police on the scene they fled into a home. SWAT entered the home after about an hour. 

SWAT did use tear gas prior to entering the house. 

The SWAT situation ended just before 7 p.m.

Three suspects were taken into custody, according to officials.
