Main Street reopens following police investigation

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Mishawaka Police and the SWAT team have cleared the scene of a standoff in the 2800 block of Main Street.

Officers responded to the scene around 11:30 a.m. and an injured person was taken to the hospital.

Police called SWAT to the scene.

The standoff ended around 4 p.m.

Police said no one is in custody. The incident was isolated and there is no danger to the public.

Main Street was closed between Leyte and Ardennes avenues, but it has since reopened.
