Syracuse-Turkey Creek Township Public Library’s summer reading celebration

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. - The Syracuse-Turkey Creek Township Public Library will host a kickoff party for their summer reading program, as well as the official opening of the Community Roots outdoor space on June 2.

Children and teens can sign up for summer reading between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.; library cards are not needed to sign up.

Activities, such as cornhole and giant “Connect Four,” will take place throughout the celebration.

The library will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of Community Roots at 11:00 a.m.

The Community Roots project serves the community as an additional recreational space, as well as providing the library with a new space for programming.
