Semi carrying M&M's catches fire on Toll Road
ST.JOSEPH, Ind. -- A semi caught fire on the Toll Road Saturday morning.
According to St.Joseph County dispatch, the call came in Oct. 27 at approximately 4:17 a.m. regarding a semi that caught fire near mile marker 86 about three miles east of the Mishawaka exit.
The semi was said to have been carrying M&M's.
Eastbound lanes have reopened but delays are expected.
The investigation revealed that the fire may have started in the brakes before spreading to the trailer.
There are no reports of any injuries.
