Target removes clown masks from stores and online

Local Target stores have removed clown masks from their floor after there have been so many scary clown sightings happening nationwide.

Target Spokesperson Joshua Thomas says they’re not only removing them from inside the stores, but online as well.

“Given the current environment, we have made the decision to remove a variety of clown masks from our assortment, both in stores and online,” said Thomas.

The South Bend Target is one of many stores that received a message from Target offices to remove the creepy items from their costume department.

Supervisors there say there’s no message behind it and that they take the item off the floor when they’re asked to do so.
