Teaching teachers to care for students with learning disabilities

Teachers need to learn how to help students that may not be having an easy time in the classroom.
And here in Indiana the House recognizes that and feels like they need to put steps in place to protect those kids.
House Bill 1437 will be discussed today and it's about just that teaching teachers how to teach all different kinds of learners.
The goal is to provide that the individuals teaching our students demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of the best practices needed to provide the care and instruction in the classroom that students who are struggling with a disability need.
