Teddy bears being sent to refugee children in Chicago

SOUTH BEND, Ind.. --- On Friday 150 teddy bears were sent off to Chicago.


The teddy bears are being sent to refugee children that crossed into the United States from Central America.


The Coalition for the Care of Refugee Children in South Bend organized the 'Bears for Care' donation drive as a way to help bring the children a sense of security.


Many of the refugee children fled to the United States to escape poverty and violence in their home countries.
