Teen delivers own baby in Wal-Mart

CANON CITY, Colo. -- A teen in Colorado delivered her own baby inside a Wal-Mart bathroom.

The 16-year-old was shopping with her mom when she went to the bathroom and delivered the baby.

But once the baby was born, the little boy was not breathing and turned blue.

Luckily a Wal-Mart employee stepped in to help. She called 9-1-1 and a dispatcher took her through the process that saved his life.

"And she was working alone that day so that makes a big difference too," said retired nurse Carol Dominguez.

Police say the girl's mom did not even know her daughter was pregnant.

Mother and baby are doing fine.
