Teen drowns tied to shopping cart

Police say a teenager died at Lake Allatoona, near Atlanta, after he was tied to a shopping cart and flung into the water.

Officials believe it may have been a game. They believe it was a game where a shopping cart is tied to a pole and the shopping cart is rolled to the end of a dock and the person would be flung into the water.

"With all these shows that are on cable and YouTube, I mean, you never know what's going on," said Fred Werner. "It's a tragic thing that little time period where the rope got put onto him and where he got into the water is still a very gray area we have no answers for that yet."

The teen's body was found tied to the shopping cart.
