Terry Sturgis possibly facing sexual assault charges

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- More information has been released in the case of a 10-year-old boy who police say was beaten to death by his own father.

Police are investigating Terry Sturgis on additional charges, this time, for sexual assault.

Agents with Child Protective Services asked the police to open an investigation. This, after one of his children told them Sturgis sodomized the children as a form of punishment. 

Sturgis has pleaded insanity, and the judge ordered three different doctors to evaluate his mental state.

Sturgis is accused of killing son Tramelle by beating him to death with a club and belt.
