SOUTH BEND, Ind. --The Sisterhood came together at South Bend Riley High school to donate boxes filled with gloves, hats and scarves to help keep other students in need warm for this winter.
As a part of their community program, common councilwoman Karen White was there and shared how proud she is of these young ladies for giving back.
Council Member at Large, Karen White: "I get very emotional, very excited to see the point in which they first became a member of sisterhood to see where they're at now, and to see the growth and excitement that they have, and most importantly how they support each other".
The project will help the kids at the South Bend Marshall Traditional School stay warm all winter long.
