The gray and damp weather will begin to clear, Wednesday. Clouds may still be stubborn most the day but at least a peak of sun will break through in the afternoon. More sun, less clouds is the trend through the weekend. The end of January is typically the coldest time of year in Michiana, in fact JAN 30-31 is the two-year anniversary of lows hitting -20 degrees. Instead, the start of February will be seasonably mild, with high temperatures 10 to 20 degrees above normal. The forecast is fair an quiet through next week.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 34.
Wednesday: Decreasing clouds. High 42.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. High 46.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 44
