SOUTH BEND, Ind: Notre Dame Football is off to a hot start, ranked 9th in the country and looking for 4-0.

The Irish are rolling into week 4, after putting up 45 points in what was supposed to be their biggest test thus far at NC State

“We play great complementary football and what our defense was able to do, not only in creating havoc turnovers, but also doing that in their side of the field, which clearly led to points for us and too,” Offensive Coordinator Gerad Parker said.

Parker’s offense was able to feast on the Wolfpack, thanks to three interceptions from the defense (Xavier Watts, DJ Brown, Benjamin Morrison).

“We have like a swagger about ourselves right now. Like we're feeling ourselves, like we know we can compete with anybody right now,” defensive lineman Howard Cross mentioned.

“I think we're playing faster. And we got to keep using our techniques and make them habits, you know, and that's gonna, that's going to translate to game day,” defensive coordinator Al Golden added.

The next game day is in the house that Rockne built. In Sam Hartman's second home game, he's already got an analysis for the Chippewas.

“I know on the defensive side of the ball, they're very well experienced, right, they got, I think seven guys back, that have all played a lot of meaningful snaps. So, we know that's going to be a challenge. I think every week and every game, we're going to execute for ourselves and reach our full potential, I think, no matter the opponent, whatever the location,” Hartman said.

Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. at Notre Dame Stadium. ABC57 Kickoff will be live from the campus of Notre Dame from 10 a.m. to noon before the game.
