The Irish staged a late comeback last night against the Boilermakers

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. --- The Irish kept their streak going against Purdue Saturday night winning 31-24.

Notre Dame trailed almost the entire game to the Boilermakers and didn't pull ahead until the fourth quarter.

Head Coach Brian Kelly said Saturday night, it was a good win for the team.  He also goes home Sunday with never losing to Purdue while coaching at Notre Dame.

But the Irish definitely had to fight for the win.

The Boilermakers came out smoking from the beginning, but the Irish came back in the fourth quarter to win the in state match-up.

"Losing sucks that's something that we don't want to do here at Notre Dame its something that we take pride in and... we know everybody hates us and its good to make them mad," said Irish Wide Receiver DaVaris Daniels.

Next weekend, the Irish will be back at home playing Michigan State.
