The lake effect snow continues throughout the day today, mainly affecting NW Michiana, but everyone will see the flakes and some accumulations. Another 6”-8” can be expected for Berrien and Cass counties by Saturday morning, as most of the accumulating snow should be done by midday. About 3”-6” of new snow is coming for South Bend. By Saturday afternoon, we should see the sun shining in some spots. But, the break is short-lived.
Another system moves through Sunday and the snow starts up during the day and continues into a portion of Monday. Some accumulations are possible. The majority of next week looks dry for a change, as highs consistently top out in the upper 20s/lower 30s.
Today: Mostly cloudy with lake effect snow showers. High of 14.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with lake effect snow showers. Low of 6.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy with L.E. snow showers early, then partly sunny. High of 16.
Sunday: Cloudy with snow starting around midday. Highs near 30.
