Timing has changed for " The Mess " to end the week. The precipitation starts Thursday evening, likely as rain, changing to wet snow after 9:00 PM. The heaviest snow falls overnight into early Friday morning. The Friday morning commute will be the most difficult, with snow in the ground and likely the roads too. Similar to last Friday, the ground is above freezing, so slush is the main concern on the roads. The snow will gradually melt off roads as the snow tapers-off, during the day Friday. The forecast remains complicated as Michigan is split by milder temperatures to the south, a small shift in the storm track can change snow totals drastically.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 30.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. High 46.
Friday: Snow. High 35.
Saturday: Partly cloudy 36.
