Cold and quiet weather continues but the clouds will break midweek. There will at least break in the clouds Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is THE day temperatures rise above freezing for a few hours, then temperatures drop this weekend. There will be some snow showers Friday, but accumulation will be an inch or less. Enjoy winter while it's still pristine. Next week we start to turn sloppy, and highs warm closer to 40 degrees with rain/snow. That means the snowpack will turn gray and slushy. There is still no sign of a major warm-up, but the deep freezing may be ending.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 8
Wednesday: Partly cloudy. High 25
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. High 28.
Friday: Snow showers. High 36.
