ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- St. Joseph County Commissioner Andy Kostielney expressed that he believes the mediation process over redistricting the county is making good progress.
The commissioner says that lawyers have been reviewing a tentative proposal since mediation discussions ended last week.
“I’ve learned a long time ago that any guesses I make are so completely wrong. It all depends. I’m hopeful that we can find some common ground,” said Kostielney.
Kostielney added that the council and commissioners have not yet scheduled another mediation session.
