Dangerous storms to our west not weakening much
ANN ARBOER, Mich. – Nearly 100 thousand people in Michigan were without power on Friday as a strong storm passed through the Ann Arbor area.
The storm was so significant that it left behind damage and caused some injuries.
Fair-goers at a local art event say the storm come out of nowhere.
"All of a sudden the wind just bam, just hit," Ed Kidera said, who witnessed the storm as it was happening. "There was stuff flying everywhere, trash flying, things flying, people running everywhere which way."
Multiple tents were smashed during the storm.
A woman’s foot reportedly got crushed and she was treated by paramedics.
There are also reports of flooding in some areas.
