Power restored for thousands of Midwest Energy customers after outage

CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Midwest Energy and Communication had four substations down Friday morning, resulting in 4,634 customers losing power in Michigan.

According to the power company, all customers had their power restored before 10 a.m. on Friday. 

According to a press release, customers in Calvin, Mason, Porter, Oslo, Washington, Mottville, York, Washington, Constantine and Penn townships were affected.
