Threat to John Young Middle School deemed not credible

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – School officials were made aware of a threat directed towards John Young Middle School on Wednesday Night. However, Mishawaka Police found the threat of school violence not credible.
Through the investigation by school officials and police identified the student that allegedly made the threat.
No immediate threat is evident at John Young Middle School. There is no change of activities for Thursday.
Parents were sent a letter with more information on the alleged threat.
