LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Sheriff's Office reports deputies responded to a residence in the 5600-west block of C.R. 250 North on Sunday night for a welfare check, when they discovered three deceased adults inside.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division are investigating the circumstances of the deaths.

Authorities say the early stages of the investigation determined this was an isolated incident and there is and was no immediate threat to public safety.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available.
