Three hospitalized after driver fails to stop at intersection Tuesday

LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A two-vehicle crash in Cass County on Tuesday resulted in three people being sent to area hospitals with injuries.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a crash around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Dailey Road and Matthews Street in LaGrange.
Authorities say the investigation indicated a vehicle driven by a 67-years-old of Niles woman was heading north on Dailey Road when a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Alfonso Martin, of Hartford, failed to stop at the stop sign, and went into the intersection and crashed into the other vehicle.
Both drivers and a passenger in Martin's vehicle were taken to local hospitals.
Their conditions are unknown at this time and the incident remains under investigation.
