Three major roadways getting partial resurfacing

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. -- The Michigan Department of Transportation announced they will be resurfacing seven and a half miles of roadways on M-103, M-66 and US-12.

The stretch of roads being resurfaced include: M-103 from the Michigan/Indiana state line to Ceceila Street in Mottville; M-66 between the north junction with M-86 and Spring Creek Road near Colon; and US-12 from Klinger Lake Road to M-66 (Centreville Road) in Sturgis.

These areas will undergo milling and asphalt resurfacing, concrete sidewalk improvements, and pavement markings.

Resurfacing efforts will cause single-lane closures near the construction crews that will have traffic regulators to help direct drivers.

These projects will begin on Monday and are expected to be completed on October 29.
